The Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted a Prosecution Complaint (PC) to the Special Court (PMLA) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, against Sahista Praveen, widow of the late Atiq Ahmad, along with others, under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002. This action is related to a case concerning a large-scale extortion scheme. On May 14, the Special Court acknowledged receipt of the PC, as confirmed by the ED.
