In a press release, the police detailed the subsequent events involving the suspect. Following the shooting, the suspect fled the scene, prompting a high-speed chase. The pursuit concluded when the suspect’s vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a ditch. Authorities revealed that the suspect had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, AP reported.
