Ukraine claimed on Saturday that a Russian missile had struck the warehouse of an Indian pharmaceutical company, Kusum. In a post on microblogging platform X, the Ukrainian embassy said Moscow, while claiming “special friendship” with India, deliberately targets Indian businesses — destroying medicines meant for children and the elderly.

“Today, a Russian missile struck the warehouse of Indian pharmaceutical company Kusum in Ukraine. While claiming “special friendship” with India, Moscow deliberately targets Indian businesses — destroying medicines meant for children and the elderly,” the Ukranian Embassy in India posted on X.

The statement has claimed that the attack was not an incident but a deliberate attempt to harm Indian businesses operating in Ukraine.

Martin Harris, the British Ambassador to Ukraine, wrote on X that this morning Russian drones completely destroyed a major pharmaceuticals warehouse in Kyiv, incinerating stocks of medicines needed by the elderly and children. He further added that Russia’s campaign of terror against the Ukrainian civilians continues.
