Jr. NTR Gets Back From Japan Hours After Devastating Earthquakes

New Delhi: Jr. NTR and his family often take international flights to spend time together. He was enjoying a weeklong vacation in Japan with his family. He celebrated Christmas and New Year’s in Japan this year with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi and their two children, Bhargav and Abhay. He announced his return home on X (formerly Twitter) on January 2. Additionally, he expressed his profound sadness for the earthquakes that occurred in Japan. Japan was hit by 155 earthquakes jolt on Monday, including the 7.6-magnitude jolt that happened in Ishikawa.

After returning from Japan today, Jr. NTR turned to X to express his feelings about the devastating earthquakes that devastated the country on January 2. 

He wrote, “Back home today from Japan and deeply shocked by the earthquakes hitting. Spent the entire last week there, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. Grateful for the resilience of the people and hoping for a swift recovery.”

The ‘RRR’ actor added, “Stay strong, Japan.”

On the work front, Jr. NTR’s upcoming film ‘Devara’ was announced with the release of a new poster on New Year’s. The first installment of ‘Devara’ will hit cinemas on April 5. In addition to Jr. NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan also star in the film.

Coming back to the Japanese earthquake, over 97,000 individuals were ordered by the Japanese government to leave their houses on Monday night and were sent to gathering places such as school gymnasiums and sports arenas, which are often used for such purposes during crises.

Images of collapsed buildings and several destroyed residences shown by Japanese news stations are now going viral. Many people had to brave the chilly weather and lack of electricity overnight.
