Todd Blanche, whom Trump described as a highly respected legal expert, will take charge in an acting capacity. The abrupt change at the top of the Justice Department signals a potential shift in legal strategy at a critical juncture.

Despite the public praise, reports suggest Trump had grown frustrated with Bondi over what he viewed as a lack of urgency in pursuing legal action against his political opponents and critics.
Tensions were further exacerbated by the handling of files linked to Jeffrey Epstein. Bondi faced criticism over alleged delays and inconsistencies in releasing documents tied to the Justice Department’s sex trafficking investigation.
