Global Peace Summit is scheduled to be held this month in Switzerland as Ukraine looks to strengthen international support for its peace plan in view of the ongoing Ukraine war.
The peace summit will be held on June 15-16 at Bürgenstock Hotel above Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, while India is expected to be among the countries attending the conference, New Delhi will not be represented by PM Modi or the external affairs minister.
Last year, the meeting was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval had attended the summit.
This year, around 107 countries and international organizations have pledged to attend the event in Switzerland, as per Vlodymyr Zelensky’s spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov.
