Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, the United States carried out a daring “Mission Impossible”-style rescue operation inside Iran, successfully extracting a stranded F-15 pilot. The pilot had been trapped in hostile territory after a jet crash, posing a major challenge for the US military. Despite initial doubts and reported conditions from Iran, US special forces executed a precise and high-risk mission, rescuing the pilot and showcasing military strength. However, the conflict intensified simultaneously. Iran reportedly shot down an advanced US drone over Isfahan, releasing images of the wreckage and claiming it foiled an American attack. In retaliation, Iran launched a fresh wave of ballistic missiles toward Israel, though Israeli air defense systems intercepted them mid-air. During the rescue mission, two US aircraft were stranded in Iran, forcing the military to deploy three additional aircraft. After completing the operation, the stranded planes were destroyed to prevent capture. The developments highlight rising hostilities and continuous military one-upmanship between both sides.
