The Middle East conflict is escalating further as Israel has intensified its military strikes inside Iran. According to reports, Israeli forces carried out a missile attack in Tehran, signaling that the conflict is entering a more aggressive phase. Israeli officials have made it clear that there will be “no mercy” in the ongoing war. At the same time, Iran has continued launching attacks across the region, including drone strikes targeting the Erbil Airbase near Erbil in Iraq, where American forces are stationed. In response, the United States activated its air defense systems and reportedly used laser-based energy weapons to intercept incoming drones and rockets. Experts say Iran has been preparing for such a confrontation for years due to long-standing international sanctions and security threats. Despite repeated strikes by Israel and the US on Iranian missile launch sites, Iran still appears capable of carrying out precise missile and drone attacks across the region. Meanwhile, Iran has officially announced Mojtaba Khamenei as its new Supreme Leader following the death of Ali Khamenei. Celebrations were reported across Iranian cities as thousands of supporters took to the streets. However, tensions rose further after Amir Ohana, Speaker of Israel’s parliament Knesset, issued a public warning against Mojtaba Khamenei, suggesting that Israel could target him as well. The statement has intensified the already volatile situation in the region. Meanwhile, analysts believe Iran may be receiving intelligence or technical support from countries like Russia and China, although this has not been officially confirmed. Experts warn that if major powers become directly involved, the conflict could expand into a much wider international crisis.
