Severe floods have caused massive chaos across Greece, where relentless rain has turned streets into dangerous rivers. Visuals from multiple regions show vehicles submerged in water, with one incident capturing three people trapped inside a car as floodwaters surged across a beachside road. Emergency teams acted swiftly and rescued all three individuals safely. The rising water levels and continuous rainfall have left several areas badly affected, raising concerns across the European nation. In India, tragic road accidents and fire incidents added to the day’s alarming developments. A horrific crash in Andhra Pradesh’s Palnadu district claimed the lives of five people on the spot when a speeding car rammed into a stationary lorry on the Chilkaluripet bypass. The impact was so severe that the car was crushed under the container, trapping all six occupants. One survivor remains critically injured and has been admitted to a nearby hospital. Police have registered a case and begun investigation. Meanwhile, a blast inside a house in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, allegedly used for manufacturing firecrackers, destroyed part of the structure. In Lucknow, a parked car suddenly caught fire, triggering three explosions before firefighters brought the blaze under control. Thankfully, no casualties were reported in these UP incidents.
