Breaking Alert: Iran Displays Missile Power, Fires on Indian Ships Amid Rising Hormuz Crisis Tensions

Tensions across the Middle East are rapidly intensifying as Iran continues to project military strength despite ongoing ceasefire discussions. In a major development, Iran released footage of underground missile assembly and manufacturing, signaling that its weapons program remains active and ready for escalation if required. The move highlights a dual strategy—engaging in diplomacy while simultaneously demonstrating deterrence. The crisis deepened in the Strait of Hormuz, where two Indian commercial vessels reportedly came under fire from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Following the incident, both ships were forced to retreat, triggering a strong diplomatic response from India. Indian authorities have summoned Iranian representatives and demanded an explanation over the use of force in international waters. Amid this, IRGC spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari issued a sharp warning to the United States and Israel, suggesting that any further escalation could lead to severe consequences. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council has also reiterated plans to impose security and environmental fees on vessels passing through the strait, asserting greater control over the key maritime corridor. While Donald Trump has claimed progress in negotiations, Iran’s continued military signaling and firm stance indicate that tensions remain far from resolved. Growing international alignments, including supportive remarks from Belarus, suggest a widening geopolitical divide with potential global economic consequences.
