Nepal Floods: Severe flooding has caused widespread destruction across several districts of Nepal, with Rasuwa emerging as the worst-affected area near the China border. Nuwakot, Dhading and Chitwan are also among the districts facing major damage. Reports indicate that water flowing from the Tibet region has intensified flooding, affecting residential areas and infrastructure. Dramatic visuals show houses surrounded by powerful floodwaters, while a major bridge in Dhading district was swept away by the strong current of the Trishuli River. The bridge, identified as the Malikhu Bridge, reportedly connects important routes toward the mountainous areas near Kathmandu. The collapse highlights the intensity of the flooding, with nearby homes also facing serious danger. The disaster has raised concerns in India as well because flooding and other natural disasters in Nepal can have consequences downstream. Rescue and relief efforts remain a major concern as authorities assess the extent of destruction across the affected districts.
