A major development has emerged from the region near the Strait of Hormuz, where three Indian nationals have been confirmed dead following a U.S. missile strike on a commercial vessel near the coast of Oman. According to the information presented, the ship was carrying 24 Indian crew members when it came under attack. The three deceased have been identified as trainee cadet Aditya from Himachal Pradesh, Suresh, and a fireman whose identity has also been confirmed by authorities. Reports indicate that they had been missing since the attack and have now been declared dead. The remaining 21 Indian crew members were rescued safely through a joint operation involving Omani authorities and Indian agencies. The vessel reportedly sustained severe damage in the strike. Following the incident, India has expressed strong concern and summoned the senior U.S. diplomatic representative in New Delhi to seek an explanation and further details regarding the attack. Authorities are now working on the process of bringing the bodies of the deceased back to India.
