Powerhouse actress and recording artist Tashi—known to many as Tashiana Washington and hailed by Rolling Stone as a “Breakout Star to Watch”—reunites with gold-selling singer, songwriter, producer, and actor Samuel Mancini for their electrifying new single, “WAT3R,” being released via AWAL/Eric West Management Group on October 3rd, 2025. We got an exclusive preview—and it’s a HIT.
Following the global explosion of their last collaboration “SOAK”, which climbed to #1 on the U.S. R&B iTunes Chart, #3 in the U.K., and charted in over 40 countries, the pair returns with undeniable chemistry and a bolder sound. “SOAK” not only dominated iTunes but also broke into the Top 10 of the Billboard R&B Singles Chart and Top 40 in the U.K., peaking at #32—cementing Tashi and Mancini as a powerhouse duo in the global R&B scene.
Their latest offering, “WAT3R” (pronounced Water), blends atmospheric production, sultry vocals, and pulse-pounding rhythm into a certified club anthem. A solo version of the track from Tashi will also be released, further showcasing her commanding voice and star presence. The track was produced by Qkeyzz and written by an elite team including Tashi, Samuel Mancini, Lenisha Nelson, Dominique George, Eric West, Ebony Washington, and Qkeyzz.

“WAT3R” arrives on the heels of Samuel Mancini’s Latin chart-topper “Tu Eliges,” featuring Puerto Rican legends Eric West and Kedward Aviles. That track debuted at #1 on the Billboard Latin Singles Chart, cracked the Top 50 in the U.K., and was co-written by Grammy-winning duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, earning a Ritmo Latino Award for Song of the Year.
Tashi continues to blaze trails across both film and music. Known for standout roles in Amazon Prime’s “Harlem,” HBO’s “Betty” and “Random Acts of Flyness,” she also brought her undeniable screen presence to Oscar-nominated blockbusters “Ice Age” and “Straight Outta Compton.” She’s shared the screen with Hollywood heavyweights Samuel L. Jackson and Regina Hall in 2019’s action hit “Shaft,” and starred alongside Brendan Fraser in the powerful 2013 drama “Gimme Shelter.”
Meanwhile, Samuel Mancini continues to dominate across genres and platforms. His 2021 debut mixtape, “FEED THE FIRE,” generated nearly 50 million global streams and made an impressive impact on the Billboard charts—landing at #21 on the Albums Chart, #9 on the Top Pop Album Sales Chart, and #1 on the Top New Artist Albums Chart (Luminate). His success extended to visual platforms, earning #1 music videos on Apple Music for “Infatuation” and “Reckless,” alongside multiple Top 20 iTunes singles including “Second Heartbeat,” “Infatuation,” “Love… Thy Will Be Done,” and “Undone.”
Together, Tashi and Samuel Mancini are proving once again that lightning does strike twice. With “WAT3R,” they’re not just making waves—they’re bringing the flood.
