South Korean Navy Plane With 4 Onboard Crashes In Pohang

A South Korean Navy aircraft, carrying four persons, crashed in Pohang, a city in the southern part of South Korea, on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 1:50 PM (local time).

Yonhap news agency quoted a witness to the incident, who said smoke was emanating from the crash site. It is not known yet if there were any casualties. Emergency rescue teams and fire trucks were dispatched to the spot. 

The aircraft, a P-3C patrol plane, left the base in Pohang at 1.44 PM. The South Korean Navy is now investigating the cause of the crash and the fate of the four occupants.
