Afghanistan: Suicide Bombing At Educational Centre In Kabul Kills 19 People, 27 Wounded

New Delhi: A suicide bombing took place at an educational centre  in a Shiite area of Afghanistan’s capital city Kabul on Friday morning. A Taliban-appointed spokesperson for the Kabul police chief said that 19 people were killed and 27 were wounded in the incident.

According to the Associate Press, spokesperson Khalid Zadran said that the explosion took place in the Dashti Barchi neighborhood of Kabul. The area is populated mostly by members of Afghanistan’s minority Shiite community.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
